Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Mechanic in Indiana to maintain and repair forklifts, conveyors, trailers and other power equipment. You will provide mechanical support, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance to keep the warehouse running smoothly.

The role is 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) Monday–Friday with a pay rate of $23.50/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pass Department of Transportation exam.
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• 6 months related experience.
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience.
• 1 year of fleet experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily maintenance work.
• Perform all repairs on forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment and other warehouse power equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs on all machines and equipment.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for immediate maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work performed both internally and externally is performed to company standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure driver compliance of company driving policies.
• Manage parts inventory at the most economic level for efficient operation of the system.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
