Job summary

Lanco is hiring a Packaging Machine Operator to set up and operate packaging equipment, thread film, and program presets. You will handle quilts from staging to boxing, scan items with the QuiltTracker app, and maintain accurate records while ensuring quality and efficiency on the production line.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience. English proficiency, blueprint reading, and basic math are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Attention to detail to detect defects early.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• English language proficiency (reading/writing).

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging machine by staging product, threading film, programming presets and completing required paperwork.
• Operate rollpack or smashing machine and adjust settings as needed.
• Pass quilts through the machine and monitor operations for proper function.
• Hand-unload rolled or smashed quilts and box finished products; apply master QR codes.
• Record each quilt in the QuiltTracker app and maintain QR codes in the system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with PPE requirements.
