Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Machine Operator II in Boise to perform set-ups, operate packaging equipment, and monitor product quality per customer specs.

The role requires GMP/HACCP knowledge or willingness to learn, basic math, and the ability to read and write in English. You must be 18+, with strong organizational and teamwork skills, and able to stand for long periods in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders being run.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes to line workers.
• Must have the ability to handle small tools.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment in preparation for product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts as necessary to ensure it functions correctly and meets quality specs.
• Inspects and tests packages and documents results to ensure quality standards.
• Stages and checks required materials for quick and accurate changeovers in production.
• Completes and assembles all required documentation for the position.
