Job summary

Jack Link’s Inc. is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to execute daily production tasks in a fast-paced meat snack plant in Wisconsin. You will start up equipment, perform set-ups, run changes, and document production with strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SSOP protocols, with growth opportunities in a large snacks company.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Less than high school education; or up to 12 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES: English proficiency, safety awareness, ability to follow SOPs and GMPs
• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and labeling
• Ability to communicate effectively with line personnel and supervisor
• Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot basic production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions

Responsibilities

• Manage start-up and ensure equipment is in proper operating condition
• Set-up, operate, and change over machines per standard protocols
• Document daily production run logs and labels
• Maintain quality protocols and fix defects with FSQ
• Train and develop line personnel
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs and safety procedures
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and organization of work area
