Job summary

Barcel USA is seeking a dedicated production line worker to operate Bagger machines, ensure quality on the line, and follow GMP and SOP procedures. You will document materials, monitor safety practices, and assist with line setup and packing to support a smooth production flow.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to HACCP principles, with responsibilities including trouble-shooting, pre-op checks, and maintaining clean, safety-conscious work areas.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of food safety.
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work on foot for extended periods.
• Team player with urgency when needed.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Willing to work 3–6 days per week, including weekends/holidays.
• Basic math for counts and recipes (sum, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read/interpret safety rules and recipes in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and the specified settings for each product.
• Complete operator check lists and pre-op inspections.
• Capture and document lot numbers, quantities, times, and DT data.
• Maintain clean work area and GMPs; report incidents promptly.
• Assist with line setup, packing, and coordination with cooking teams.
• Return unused ingredients and wrap/label materials for stock return.
• Notify supervisor if line isn’t operating to standards.
• Support training of new employees and adherence to safety policies.
