Job summary

The role requires setting up machines, performing pre-operational checks, monitoring weight, seal integrity, and quality, while guiding packers and support staff to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or related experience.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1-2 years running or setting up packaging machines.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup and pre-operational checks for sanitary conditions.
• Perform product weight, seal integrity, label alignment, and print quality checks per SOPs.
• Verify information on proof sheets against labels and artwork; complete required paperwork.
• Monitor for product defects and maintain packaging line efficiency.
• Lead line staff (packers and dumpers) to meet production needs.
