Job summary

Kettle Cuisine in Everett, WA is seeking a Plant Operator to run machinery in the Everett Plant, performing troubleshooting, setup, quality control and waste control to keep production on track.

You will conduct chemical cleanings during turnarounds, support line documentation and training, maintain tools, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives, while adhering to safety, 5S and process standards. This is an on-site role with potential for shift variation and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines within assigned area, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, quality control, and waste control.
• Performs chemical cleaning within assigned area, both on daily turnaround and unplanned intervals.
• Escalates acute and chronic machine and organizational issues to Line Specialist and/or Lead as required.
• Supports existing line operation documentation, such as Gemba boards, changeover checklists, 5S, centerlines, and CIL tracking, by completing the required tasks and documentation at the required intervals.
• Supports new initiatives when required by providing feedback, writing and training others on procedures, and adopting new tasks and documentation.
• Accountable for keeping and maintaining assigned tools.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
