Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc in Wisconsin (Neenah) is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant to set up, operate, and maintain packaging machines. You will monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering products to customers on schedule.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, good teamwork and communication, and the ability to read a tape measure with basic math.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibration and operation of manufacturing equipment / powered equipment.
• Monitor machine operations and production quality to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot on machinery as needed.
• Document production data and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
