Winland Foods in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and maintain packaging equipment on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. You will monitor processes, perform changeovers, and ensure product labeling and packaging meet quality standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification (preferred for Advanced Level), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep Packaging flowing.
• Perform routine operation checks.
• Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers.
• Ensure proper sanitation after changeovers.
• Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging.
• Record shipments and inventory in SAP; participate in 5S.
