Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for operating equipment to ensure only the highest quality product is produced.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and clean all equipment prior to start times to ensure on-time start-ups.
• Perform quality checks, record information, and make system adjustments to meet specifications.
• Monitor spiral freezer operations, check for ice buildup, and correct issues to maximize quality and production.
• Perform sanitation duties as required to restore systems promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment to ensure effective operation.
• Adhere to safety practices, GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions, reporting any issues affecting food safety or quality.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for food safety and quality of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: 1-3 months of related experience or training; intermediate computer skills.

Preferred: High School Diploma or GED; ability to read and write simple instructions; basic math skills; ability to understand and carry out instructions; problem-solving skills.

Physical and Cognitive Demands

Includes problem-solving, decision-making, supervising, data interpretation, and organizing tasks, with physical demands such as bending, standing, reaching, lifting, and operating machinery.

Working Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work, exposure to high/low temperatures, loud noises, fumes, dust, and VDT screens. Use of equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and trash compactors.

Physical Requirements
