Job description

Packaging Machine Operator

Location: Newport, AR

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Shifts: 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM

Schedule: 2‑2‑3 Rotation | Alternating Days and Nights

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality and accuracy
• Experience or ability to operate and monitor multiple machines simultaneously
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn production tracking software systems
• Ability to read gauges, monitor equipment, and accurately document production data
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and required PPE

Job Duties

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery to meet daily production targets
• Oversee multiple machines at once and respond quickly to equipment or production needs
• Read, interpret, and accurately record machine gauges, measurements, and production data
• Use computer systems and software to track performance and document output
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production or equipment issues
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
