Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Spot outbound trucks into load docks and ensure dock-locks are used.
• Reclaim off-quality material and refeed to forehearth.
• Place bags on bagger equipment snouts for proper packaging.
• Perform general cleaning in designated areas and around lines.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance processes.
• Take on special plant tasks as assigned by staff.
• Support safety and housekeeping programs.

Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts, 6:00pm – 6:00am); 2-2-3 schedule
Salary: $18.50 per hour; Temp to Hire

Job Summary

Kelly Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Packaging Machine Operator for our facility in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who is dedicated to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency while working primarily in the production area.

Key Responsibilities

• Spot outbound trucks into material load docks, ensuring dock-locks are properly utilized
  
• Reclaim off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeed material to the forehearth
  
• Place bags on bagger equipment snouts to ensure proper packaging of finished goods
  
• Perform general cleanup duties in designated areas (e.g., sweeping floors, blowing down lines/robots, cleaning break rooms)
  
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes
  
• Perform special tasks as determined by plant staff
  
• Participate in safety and housekeeping programs established by the plant

Qualifications & Skills
