Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a reliable Packaging Machine Operator for our Mount Vernon, Ohio facility. The role focuses on safe, high-quality packaging operations in a production environment with night shifts (12-hour), and opportunities for overtime.

This position emphasizes manufacturing experience, English communication, and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Strong customer service skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Spot outbound trucks into load docks and ensure dock-locks are used.
• Reclaim off-quality material and refeed to forehearth.
• Place bags on bagger equipment snouts for proper packaging.
• Perform general cleaning in designated areas and around lines.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance processes.
• Take on special plant tasks as assigned by staff.
• Support safety and housekeeping programs.
