Responsibilities

• Trim, inspect and pack containers or parts on line 1.
• Move 95-gallon trash cans to the compactor, empty, and return them to floor.
• Inspect and pack bottles on assigned lines and during rework.
• Monitor production for quality defects and notify supervisor of issues.
• Apply tickets to finished packages accurately.
• Read and follow the pick list; ensure line compliance.
• Enter data on exception reports and pack/inspection sheets.
• Start, stop, reset and clear jams on conveyors and labelers.
• Complete housekeeping duties in the assigned areas.
• Submit safety observations and report hazards as needed.
• Participate in monthly safety and quality meetings.
• Adhere to Silgan safety policies.
• Empty reject bins and grind scrap as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
