Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Packaging Operator to safely operate packaging equipment and safeguard product integrity on the assigned pack-out line. This role emphasizes preventing contamination, following standardized processes, and meeting customer requirements.

You will support the Packaging Lead with line setup, transfer hose connections, and routine paperwork checks. The position requires manual lifting up to 55 lbs, ability to work rotating shifts, and occasional weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of Warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of Operations experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection processes within EHS and Quality policy guidelines.
• Adhere to Good Packaging Practices (GPPs) to maintain product integrity.
• Perform complete blowdowns in accordance with customer quality standards.
• Assist the Packaging Lead in setting up packaging lines.
• Set up transfer hoses to railcars while following GPPs.
• Verify and initial paperwork before starting new packaging orders.
• Review and initial test prints after approval from the Packaging Lead.
• Report any quality concerns encountered during packaging to the Packaging Lead.
• Complete assigned training to maintain compliance and skill development.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
