Job summary

Quantix SCS LLC is seeking a Packaging Operator to safely operate packaging equipment and ensure product integrity on the assigned pack-out line. You will follow established processes, meet customer requirements, and uphold company safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of warehouse and operations experience, can work weekends and holidays, and adapt to rotating shifts. You will support the Packaging Lead, set up lines, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to last-minute schedule changes.
• Flexibility to work with different crews as needed.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection processes within EHS and Quality policy guidelines.
• Adhere to Good Packaging Practices (GPPs) to maintain product integrity.
• Perform complete blowdowns in accordance with customer quality standards.
• Assist the Packaging Lead in setting up packaging lines.
• Set up transfer hoses to railcars while following GPPs.
• Verify and initial paperwork before starting new packaging orders.
• Review and initial test prints after approval from the Packaging Lead.
• Report any quality concerns encountered during packaging to the Packaging Lead.
• Complete assigned training in Paylocity to maintain compliance and skill development.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Assist the Packaging Lead in completing all tasks assigned by management.

The Packaging Operator ensures all packaging operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and effectively at the assigned pack-out line while following company policies, core values, and safety procedures.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).
