Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Lineperson to join our manufacturing team. The role moves product from the packing area to the warehouse, helps set up lines each day, and assists during changeovers when packaging different items.

You'll work in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment, scan finished product into inventory, prepare packing materials, and support cross‑functional teams to meet daily production goals. On‑site with full‑time hours.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Read and understand English communications.

Responsibilities

• Moves product from packing area to warehouse by pulling jacks filled with product.
• Accurately scans finished product into inventory with use of scanning equipment.
• Orders materials (cartons, liners) for packers from material handler.
• Sets up mats and cartons for packers before production begins each day.
• Prepares packing area when packaging different products.
• Orders appropriate cartons.
• Helps relieve for breaks and lunches.
• Helps clean floor and equipment in packing room weekly.
• Must be able to safely maneuver 60 lb. skids.
• Constant reaching and stacking above head.
• Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
