Job summary

Gotham Greens in Monroe, GA is seeking a Greenhouse/Packhouse Operator (Labeler) and Runner to support packaging-line operations, label application, and material flow. You will supervise Production Assistants on the Multivac line and help maintain product quality and line KPIs.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to lift up to 50 pounds, endure summer heat, and work across varying schedules. This role offers hands-on process exposure in a fast-paced urban-farm production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging-line equipment.
• Ability to complete Operator GFSI records and line KPI entries.
• Ability to coordinate Production Assistants and communicate needs clearly.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ability to perform Packer, Sorter/Quality Control, and Runner duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot packaging-line equipment to minimize downtime.
• Track line KPIs such as startup and ramp-up times and quality rejects.
• Lead Production Assistants on the Multivac line and support changeovers.
• Maintain accurate GFSI records and ensure compliance with food-safety standards.
• Perform daily sanitation and keep equipment clean and operational.
