Job summary

High Liner Foods USA is seeking a production operator to set up and run various production machines daily. The role includes troubleshooting, changing over lines for efficiency, and ensuring compliance with food safety and safety guidelines.

The position requires reading product specifications, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to GMPs. Regular overtime may be necessary; candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; associate degree a plus.
• Regularly lift up to 15 pounds frequently, 70 lbs occasionally.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned machine(s) to meet daily production goals.
• Coordinate product change-overs to maximize line efficiencies.
• Assist with troubleshooting to minimize downtime and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Policies, food safety regulations, and Safety rules.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area; wear proper safety gear.
• Verify lines are supplied with necessary components to meet the schedule.
• Read and understand product, packaging and labeling specifications and operate related equipment.
• Work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
