Job summary

Compact Industries Inc. seeks a Packaging Lead on the 1st shift in St. Charles, IL. You will oversee the packaging line, train Packers and Stackers, and ensure efficient, compliant production.

The role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a full-time, daytime schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Competitive hourly pay and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Stand or walk 95% of the time; ability to bend, twist, and stoop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operation of up to two machines on the packaging line.
• Start machine and observe operation; perform minor adjustments and repairs.
• Direct, train, and correct behaviors of Packers and Stackers on the production line.
• Run equipment at designed rates; troubleshoot problems and reduce downtime.
• Ensure products meet specifications and report issues to supervisor.
• Maximize packaging yields and efficiency; eliminate waste.
• Monitor and ensure proper operation of checkweighers and metal detectors.
• Maintain safety and GMP procedures and complete production forms.
