Job summary

Continental Manufacturing in Huxley, IA is seeking a Packaging Line Lead (1st Shift) to supervise and coordinate packaging and filling operations. You'll lead a hands-on team on a fast-paced production floor, drive efficiency, and uphold quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and experience in manufacturing. The role runs 5:30am–4:00pm, Monday through Thursday (4 ten-hour days) with safety-focused responsibilities and opportunities to implement process

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing/production, leadership experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervise packaging line activities to ensure smooth operations.
Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely and accurate completion.
Monitor production processes to maintain quality control and minimize errors.
Train and coach employees on procedures and safety protocols.
Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and report issues.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues.
Maintain records of production output, downtime, and inventory.
Enforce safety standards and ensure a safe working environment.
Motivate team members to achieve production goals.
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency.
Monitor and input Line run data into RedZone production software on supplied iPad.
