The role supports the Packaging Machine Operator, sets up and adjusts machines, loads materials, and ensures safe, efficient packaging in a food processing environment.

You will follow safety, quality, and sanitation procedures. Qualified candidates have recent manufacturing experience and may hold forklift, SQF, and LOTO training.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment with repetitive, physically demanding work.
• Forklift certification, SQF training, and LOTO training preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and compose simple instructions in English or Spanish.
• Demonstrates problem solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a food processing facility with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Packaging Machine Operator in setting up and adjusting packaging machines.
• Load WIP materials and packaging materials into machines and monitor operation.
• Replenish materials and manage inventory for safe consumption.
• Inspect packaged products for quality and complete rework if needed.
• Ensure clean, organized work areas and safe work environment.
• Assist with line changeovers and safe disassembly/reassembly of equipment.
• Report safety and quality incidents and participate in RCAs.
