Job summary

Golden State Cider is hiring a Packaging Lead in Healdsburg, CA to operate and maintain the packaging line, including filling, carbonation, dosing, and inspection systems. You will lead daily production activities, coordinate team schedules, troubleshoot issues, perform changeovers, and maintain accurate production and QA/QC records in line with SOPs.

The role emphasizes safety, sanitary practices, and continuous improvement on the packaging floor, with a focus on meeting production and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in cidery/brewery/winery environment preferred.
• Previous packaging experience required.
• High School Diploma, GED, or two years of related experience.
• Forklift Certification and proven ability to safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including extended hours, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line equipment (filler/seamer, in-line carbonator, doser, inspection).
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment and coordinate with supervisor or maintenance.
• Sanitize and CIP packaging equipment; perform QA/QC, seam analysis and DO analysis.
• Perform tooling changeovers between packaging formats.
• Lead the packaging team by delegating daily production goals and schedules.
