Job summary

Highlander Beer is seeking a detail‑oriented Packaging Lead and Cellarman to operate and maintain the canning line, oversee QA/QC, perform line maintenance, and manage warehouse logistics in a hands‑on brewery setting.

The role requires hands‑on experience with brewing equipment, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy objects. You will work in a fast‑paced production environment with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly preferred, especially within a brewery or craft beer facility.
• Hands-on experience operating manufacturing equipment with mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Lead and Cellarman to join our Team. This job is primarily responsible for running our canning line, working on the cold-side of brewing operations, and warehouse logistics.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily packaging line operations
• Manage canning line set up, operation, and tear down
• Oversee QA/QC of canning line operations
• perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on canning line
• Stack and pack off cases
• Kegging of beer
• CIPs of tanks and equipment
• Prepare beer to be canned and kegged
• Pull orders, manage finished inventory, load trucks
• Sanitation and cleaning of equipment and production area

Experience

• Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly preferred, especially within a brewery or craft beer facility.
• Hands-on experience operating manufacturing equipment with mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with machine operation and troubleshooting
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks.
• Experience working within a warehouse or distribution setting is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities when needed.

Must be able to spend most of the day on your feet and must be able to continuously lift 25lbs and occasionally move 150lbs.
