Job summary

Quanex, located in Rice Lake, WI, is seeking a 1st Shift Packaging/Kit Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position runs Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm with overtime as needed during busy seasons.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with shift differential and potential annual increases. Responsibilities include setting up and operating packaging equipment, staging and labeling components, palletizing finished goods, performing quality checks, and maintaining safety and

• Production, assembly, warehouse, or mechanical hands-on experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up packaging equipment.
• Manually stage and label screens and build cardboard boxes.
• Palletize finished goods and operate stretch wrapper.
• Perform quality checks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Work efficiently with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report existing or potential hazards to the supervisor or team lead.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Quanex is looking for a 1st Shift Packaging/Kit Assemblerto join our team located in Rice Lake, WI.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm | Overtime needs vary daily during the busy season.

The hourly range for this position begins at $18.50/hr shift differential with opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis.
