Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Packaging Loading Operator to load and unload packaging materials. The role requires operating a forklift, moving pallets, and ensuring safe, efficient material flow within the packaging area.

Applicants should have at least one year of forklift experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. The position emphasizes safety, sanitation, and timely material handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maneuver in confined area.
• Ability to coordinate hand and foot controls.
• To operate equipment properly, to prevent property damage, and minimum hazard to self and fellow workers.
• This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates fork-lift in a safe, efficient manner.
• Unloads and loads empty package materials from trucks and railroad cars.
• Supplies packaging house with specified orders.
• Hauls empty pallets and drums from packing house to specified area for shipment.
• Obtains equipment from designated location before work and returns equipment when work is complete.
• Performs all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards.
