Job summary

Revolution Global seeks a Packaging Finisher Technician in Wisconsin to package cannabis products safely and compliantly. You will label packaging materials, process products (pre-rolls, flower, kitchen, lab items) and fulfill order quotas.

Required is a high school diploma with preference for some college; proficiency in Excel/Word and basic cannabis knowledge are pluses. 40+ hours weekly with flexible scheduling; PPE provided.

• Base Pay $17.00 - $21.00 / Hour

We are hiring for a Packaging Finisher Technician that is responsible for packaging cannabis products in a safe and compliant manner. This includes but is not limited to labeling packaging materials, product processing (pre-roll, flower, kitchen and lab products), packaging products and fulfilling order quotas.

Requirements

Essential Functions

• Package all Revolution products as needed
• Maintain a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination
• Perform quality assurance checks during all processes
• Record data in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Basic cannabis knowledge is preferred
• Adherence to biosecurity measures
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Cross- Departmental Functions

Must work with the labeling team to ensure that quality measures of packaging and labeling are in line with Revolution standards

Works in tandem with the Orders team when pulling and ensuring accuracy of pulled orders as they are processed

Work within other departments as needed in order to ensure that the Packaging department is meeting sales and delivery goals.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid state ID.
• Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements in order to work in in cannabis industry (requires background check and state review)
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE including respirators, gloves, Tyvek suits, and eye protection.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide
• Ability to quickly change duties due to demand.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.
• Ability to multi-task and count large quantities.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:

• Ability to work in high humidity, fluctuating temperatures, and chemical exposure
  environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (standing, bending, kneeling, reaching)
• Ability to work in confined spaces and around mechanical systems
• Required use of PPE including respirators, gloves, Tyvek suits, and eye protection
• Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity required for instrument reading and equipment handling
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and supervisors, etc. (Moderate noise)

Work Schedule

• 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
• Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Summary

Introductory Period:

The first ninety (90) calendar days of employment are considered an Introductory Period for both the employee and Revolution Global. This timeframe allows the employee to learn their new responsibilities and enables the manager to evaluate their overall performance and fit. Completion of the Introductory Period does not alter the at-will-employment relationship; either the employee or the company may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or advance notice.
