Job summary

Bell’s and New Belgium is seeking an experienced packaging operator to run high-speed lines on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am, Sun–Thu). You will start up, operate, and shut down equipment and assist with troubleshooting.

The role includes loading/unloading, forklift operation, QA sampling, and training teammates while maintaining a clean work area and following SOPs. Applicants should have mechanical skills and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed production equipment.
• Solid mechanical skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read reports/instructions.
• Ability to train new personnel when needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

The position is responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed packaging lines.This is a 3rd shift position with the working hours of 11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday. Between the hours of 6pm-6am, there is an additional $6.00 shift differential added to the base wage of this position.Essential Duties:• Conducts machine start-up, operation, and shutdown relevant to equipment area• Conducts initial troubleshooting of equipment and production issues and makes appropriate adjustment as needed• Engages in quality assurance activities (corrective action, sensory evaluation, sampling, testing, etc.)• Loads/unloads material and finished product, including driving fork lifts• Ensures clean work environment• Adheres to SOG’s (Standard Operating Guidelines) and checklists• Trains new personnel and other team members when needed• Other duties as assignedEducation/ Experience/Skills:• Previous experience with high speed production equipment desired• Solid mechanical skills• Basic computer skills• Ability to read reports, instructions, and proceduresPhysical Requirements:• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. overhead and 44• lbs. carried 10 feet.• Ability to push/pull weights up to 76 lbs. across 100 feet and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including cases and empty kegs (31.5 lbs.).• Must also show fine motor dexterity.• Ability to demonstrate their ability to climb, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead.• The position requires frequent, constant standing and walkingWorking Conditions: Production AreasWage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
