Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a packaging/filling operator for the 1st shift in Massillon, OH. The role involves setting up packaging and filling equipment, performing minor repairs, and ensuring production lines are clean and compliant with safety rules.

You will monitor quality, communicate issues to supervisors, and support maintenance teams. A bonus is possible based on performance under company plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Preferred: experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, labelers, etc.
• Preferred: experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods.
• Preferred: experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set-up packaging and filling equipment
• Make minor repairs and notify maintenance of major problems
• Perform clean down procedures to production equipment
• Advise Supervisor or Quality Control of any problems with equipment or product not meeting specifications
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly
• Perform other duties assigned
