Simplot Company in Ontario, US (GF Plant) is seeking a Packaging Operator to run and support packaging lines. You will perform start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures, ensure sanitation and safety standards, and assist in equipment changeovers and maintenance tasks.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience. Overtime is common, and the position is full-time, with a 6:00am–6:00pm shift. Must be able to work around soy, wheat, and dairy products.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must demonstrate qualification through a job skill evaluation (math, fractions, basic mechanical principles).
• Must read, understand, and communicate in a job context.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintain safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
• Provide troubleshooting, repair and support on packaging equipment and systems.
• Operate and monitor equipment within the assigned area.
• Observe and diagnose machine malfunctions and determine adjustments or repairs.
• Perform quality checks and sampling.
• Perform changeovers on packaging equipment.
• Create work orders for downtime or equipment issues.
• Assist maintenance for preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensure packaging area is kept sanitary and materials are available.
• Assist in training other plant personnel.
