Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation, a part of the ASR Group, seeks a Manager of Packaging Engineering to lead the packaging team responsible for innovation, renovation, cost optimization, sustainability, and technical support from concept through commercialization. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Commercial, and Product Development.

Reporting to the VP of Product Development and Innovation, the manager will mentor engineers, drive a packaging portfolio

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
7+ years packaging development experience in consumer packaged goods or multi-site manufacturing.
Experience leading engineers; prior supervisory responsibility preferred.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Packaging Engineering team with clear goals and accountability.
Translate business priorities into an executable packaging portfolio.
Provide technical direction for packaging development, qualification, commercialization, and risk mitigation.
Collaborate across Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions.
Manage travel 25-30% domestically or internationally as needed.
