Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a motivated Packaging Engineering Intern to join our Operations Team for Summer 2026. This paid internship offers cross-functional project work, hands-on experience, and professional development in a fast-paced consumer products company.

You’ll support product launches, sustainability research, data logging studies, and cost-saving initiatives while learning packaging design, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in a relevant function preferred
• Pursuing a 4-year degree with Sophomore/Junior standing
• Packaging Engineering major preferred
• Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

• Support Product Line Launches & Maintenance with models, prototypes, and specs
• Perform packaging tests and validate designs, including distribution tests
• Create Packaging Assembly Specifications and component specs for new designs
• Assist with quality projects related to packaging and plant initiatives
• Research packaging materials for recycled content and sustainability
• Gather data on hazards and analyze lab test outputs; conduct ship tests as needed
• Evaluate materials for equivalence and write test reports
