Job summary

Organic Valley in La Farge, WI is seeking a Packaging Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This hybrid, hourly internship offers hands-on work in designing, testing, and improving packaging while supporting sustainability and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education with one year or less from graduation.
• Pursuing Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or Marketing degree.
• Coursework in packaging design, materials, manufacturing processes, or logistics.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Experience with data analysis and project management tools.
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging development, testing, and validation activities.
• Update packaging specifications, drawings, and unit/case/pallet patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, procurement, operations, and suppliers.
• Organize digital packaging libraries and maintain data in SharePoint.
• Track packaging-related quality complaints and support trials.
• Coordinate packaging samples and project documentation.
