Shure invites you to join the Summer 2027 Packaging Engineering Internship in Niles, IL. The twelve-week, hybrid program blends on-site and remote work across the US, with a housing stipend for those relocating to Illinois.

You will develop sustainable packaging solutions for a world-class audio product portfolio, partnering with product development, marketing, and manufacturing. You will create CAD models, update documentation, and help reduce environmental impact while tracking cost, carbon

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or Packaging Science.
• Previous packaging internship experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, structures, manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Catalog and update packaging parts and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate existing parts.
• Collaborate with packaging suppliers to validate documentation and parts.
• Create 3D models and 2D documentation using CAD software (Siemens NX, ArtiosCAD).
• Help reduce environmental impact of packaging; monitor sustainability metrics.
