Job summary

KLA seeks a Packaging Engineer to join the Central Engineering team in Milpitas, CA. The role involves creating shipping containers from 3D models and drawings, addressing packaging challenges, and delivering solutions aligned with project timelines.

You will advise internal teams on packaging materials and protective systems. Requirements include a BS or MS in Packaging Engineering or related field, hands-on mechanical skills, and CAD proficiency (CREO, SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD).

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on mechanical skills with packaging engineering.
• Knowledge of Electronic/ Clean Room packaging.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Build shipping container solutions from 3D models and drawings.
• Receive goals from Program Managers and deliver within time-related milestones.
• Advise on efficient packaging procedures and protective packaging systems.
