Job summary

KLA in Milpitas is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join the Central Engineering team, focusing on the day-to-day operations of the global packaging group and driving packaging quality, cost efficiency, and reliability across products.

You will build shipping container solutions, advise internal customers on efficient packaging procedures, and work with minimal supervision while applying formal project management practices to meet deliverables.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Packaging Engineering or related field with hands-on mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of Electronic / Clean Room packaging.
• Experience with packaging materials such as paperboard, containerboard, plastic films and foam cushions.
• Proficiency with CAD tools including CREO, SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD and AutoCAD.
