Job summary

Qualifications

BS in Packaging, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in packaging engineering or related field.
Experience with packaging development for complex equipment or hardware is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Aid in establishing and managing packaging suppliers and processes.
Develop test plans and perform lab testing on products, packages, and materials.
Support PLC by defining DFD requirements and influencing product design.
Identify and execute cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain global packaging standards and specifications for the company and its supply base.
Provide advanced training and support to Packaging Engineer III.
Lead project work, drive cross-functional solutions, and mentor junior engineers.
