Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in Montgomery, AL seeks a Packaging Engineering Co-Op to assist testing and validating control systems and BOM structure for multiple product lines. You will organize prototypes under daily direction from senior engineers.

The role requires in-person interaction, 40 hours per week, for 1-3 semesters and is not summer-only. Pursuing a bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with strong communication and analytical skills is preferred.

Job description

The Packaging Engineering Co-Op will help test and validate systems on an on-going basis. This position will be organizing control systems, Bill of Material structure for multiple product lines, and assisting with prototype unit buildups. You will work under and be given direction from senior engineers on a daily basis.

This position will serve Rheem North America, located in Montgomery, AL. This is a Co-Op position, working 40 hours per week, during a 1-3 semester duration and requires in-person interaction. This is not a “summer-only” role.
