Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for package design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of various packaging materials, their properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with packaging equipment, automation, and line integration.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test packaging for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate packaging with manufacturing processes.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to packaging materials and processes.
• Conduct packaging material testing and validation to ensure quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot packaging line issues and implement corrective actions.
• Research and recommend new packaging technologies and materials.
