Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a Packaging Specialist for a contract opportunity in Summit, New Jersey. The role is onsite, Mon-Fri 8am–5pm, with hourly pay of $50–$60 on W2 (DOE).

Contract through January 2027. Responsibilities include supporting packaging engineering projects from development through implementation, coordinating cross-functional meetings, and maintaining packaging specifications and related documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting packaging engineering or packaging development projects.
• Experience creating and maintaining packaging specifications and engineering documentation.
• Experience with packaging change control processes and cross-functional project coordination.
• Experience working with packaging suppliers and packaging documentation systems.
• Work experience in other Consumer Good companies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging engineering projects from development through implementation.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to support packaging initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and revise packaging specifications and related documentation.
• Coordinate package testing and support validation activities.
• Manage packaging-related change controls and documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop packaging specifications, review die lines, and support package development.
