Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking an on-site Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for customers in the packaging manufacturing industry. You will support order processing, provide product information, and coordinate with production, logistics, and sales to ensure timely delivery.

You will document interactions in CRM, resolve inquiries, and escalate complex issues while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service role within manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Basic computer proficiency including CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
• Assist customers with product information, order placement, order status updates, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Document all customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and follow up for resolution.
• Provide feedback to management on recurring concerns and potential product improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and policies.
• Support the implementation of customer service policies to enhance service quality.
