Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Crating Associate to assemble packaging and crates for windows and doors. You will review shipping paperwork, cut lumber, and transport units to the packaging area, ensuring products are well protected for transport.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, operating a forklift and power tools, and accurately recording weights and pieces for shipping. Full-time hours are listed with 1st shift Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read production paperwork and measurements.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to visualize and determine appropriate package size.
• Ability to safely operate forklift and scale equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging and build crating to prevent damage during shipment.
• Retrieve orders from storage and move to packaging area.
• Cut lumber to size using chop saw and prepare crates.
• Place product in cartons or crates and secure packaging.
• Enter weight and pieces into the computer and complete shipping documents.
