Job summary

Falcontek Solutions in Baltimore, MD seeks a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on packaging and processing equipment. You will install, maintain, and rebuild machinery to keep uptime high and product quality consistent, with emphasis on conveyors, fillers, blow molders, and related lines.

Qualifications

Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Electro-Mechanical Technician.
Background in manufacturing/production maintenance (food preferred).
Fluency in reading mechanical and electrical prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Install, maintain, and rebuild machinery to sustain uptime and product quality.
Maintain and improve conveyors, packaging lines, and related equipment.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance to head off failures and downtime.
Respond quickly to line stops and implement lasting fixes.
Assist with changeovers and settings adjustments to meet throughput goals.
Conduct inspections to identify wear and potential failure modes.
Log all work—repairs, inspections, downtime, and parts consumption.
Follow GMP and SQF safety procedures.
