Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to lead enterprise packaging compliance strategy for a broad fragrance and home product portfolio. You will shape how compliance integrates into innovation, driving proactive alignment with evolving regulations and corporate policies.

You will partner with Legal, Marketing, R&D, and Packaging teams to ensure substantiation, risk management, and supplier audits are embedded across development cycles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in regulatory compliance, with consumer products or packaging.
• Experience leading compliance programs and policy frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of global packaging regulations.
• Experience leading claim substantiation, materials safety assessments, and supplier audits.
• Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Experience engaging with regulatory agencies, trade associations, or public comment processes.

Responsibilities

• Guide and drive the enterprise packaging compliance strategy across domestic and international regulations.
• Set direction for packaging components to meet safety and regulatory requirements globally.
• Establish checkpoints early in the innovation pipeline to influence packaging design.
• Monitor and translate regulatory developments into business strategies and executive communications.
• Develop a Packaging Compliance Dashboard to track changes, substantiation status, risks, and safety trends.
• Integrate regulatory requirements into sustainable packaging design with Product Development and Packaging teams.
• Influence regulatory outcomes through industry engagement and trade associations.
