Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Focused Improvement Engineer to lead CI initiatives across a flagship packaging operation. You will drive losses reduction, equipment performance, and process capability using TPM, Lean Six Sigma, and data analytics.

Success hinges on strong cross-functional collaboration, standardization, and a culture of operational excellence to deliver measurable savings and improved OEE.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering, manufacturing, process, or packaging experience in a consumer products environment.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives using TPM, WCM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Proven ability to analyze manufacturing data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the site's focused improvement agenda within the Packaging operation.
• Identify, prioritize, and eliminate manufacturing losses impacting safety, quality, waste, cost, and productivity.
• Lead projects that improve equipment performance, process capability, and operational efficiency.
• Deliver savings initiatives that strengthen the site's cost structure and business performance.
• Establish and maintain process standards, centerlines, and operating conditions for product quality.
• Collaborate across functions to improve manufacturing capability and support technology upgrades.
• Co-lead DFOS implementation and become the site's data/monitoring SME.
