Job summary

KMC Stampings is seeking an Industrial/Packaging Engineer in Wisconsin to drive packaging and process improvements that boost material flow, labor efficiency, cost performance and on-time delivery. You will design packaging solutions, develop standard work, optimize workstation layouts, and support MOS continuous improvements with Operations, Supply Chain and Quality teams to deliver measurable impact.

The role focuses on ergonomic risk reduction, waste minimization, and implementing cost tools

Qualifications

Time studies and standard work development for key operations.
Labor standard maintenance and improvement in manufacturing systems.
Packaging design and cost optimization for WIP and finished goods.
Workflow and layout optimization to improve efficiency and throughput.

Responsibilities

Conduct time studies and establish standard work for all key operations.
Maintain and continuously improve labor standards within Plex or internal systems.
Develop packaging cost tools and standardize container usage to reduce waste and cost.
Design and optimize workstation layouts for efficiency, flow, and operator effectiveness.
