Job summary

Mac Papers + Packaging seeks a Packaging Category Manager to own the strategic direction of the category, defining supplier strategies, product mix, pricing guidance and inventory decisions to drive profitability.

You will collaborate with Sales, Purchasing and Analytics to align goals, manage performance, and identify growth opportunities, while ensuring compliance and operational readiness across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, logistics, or data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the category strategy for Packaging aligned with growth and margin targets.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage rebate programs to improve profitability.
• Monitor category trends, market conditions and performance metrics.
• Support cross-functional teams with pricing guidance and inventory strategy.
• Ensure effective communication with Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain Analytics.
