Job summary

Aquent Studios is expanding our design team to support an iconic global consumer goods brand known for household, personal care, and oral health products. This is a long-term, hybrid opportunity based in New York City.

The Associate Creative Director will lead the creative development and execution of packaging and brand design programs, transforming insights into commercially successful creative solutions that elevate the brand and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design field with strong portfolio.
• 8–12+ years of creative experience, with significant CPG packaging and brand design.
• Proven leadership of creative teams and mentoring designers.
• Track record of delivering innovative packaging for retail brands.
• Strong portfolio showing strategic thinking, conceptual development, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic creative concepts for launches, extensions, seasonal programs, and refreshes.
• Translate insights, strategies, and objectives into visual solutions.
• Develop multiple creative territories to differentiate brands in retail environments.
• Lead brainstorming, workshops, and collaborative ideation sessions.
• Present concepts and rationale to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee packaging design from concept through production and ensure brand consistency.
