Job summary

United States Sugar Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to safely operate and maintain high-speed automated packaging machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous operation. The role requires experience with pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and gear systems, plus the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of rotating shifts.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and adhere to CGMP standards while maintaining a clean and safe work

Qualifications

Must be Ramsay qualified.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to read, write and speak English to comprehend instructions and ensure safety.
Minimum of 3 years operating and/or maintaining moving/rotating equipment in heavy industry.

Responsibilities

Abide by all Company policies and comply with regulations.
Complete training sessions, safety classes, and certifications.
Plan, schedule, and conduct preventative maintenance inspections using a computerized work order system.
Maintain inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed automated packaging equipment.
Manage safety equipment and tools of the trade.
Work independently with minimal supervision and leverage experience and judgement.
Demonstrate proper rigging and use of overhead cranes and lifting devices.
