Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years designing automation equipment or packaging machinery.
• Experience with CAD, drafting practices, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong ability to document and communicate technical concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL, and software development basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide standard machinery designs for packaging solutions.
• Use 3D CAD to design automation systems per standards.
• Calculate kinematics, dynamics, pneumatics, and servo motion aspects.
• Create mechanical BOMs and production drawings.
• Support cost reduction and quality improvements in designs.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and service teams on projects.
• Assist in machine commissioning, installation, and startup.
• Develop automation tools and software to improve workflows.
